Valtine wants to continue her studies in Belgium in order to specialize in data science and to deepen her mastery of massive data analysis and complex data modeling. His objective is to reach a doctoral level in order to contribute to research and, ultimately, to teach at the university, by transmitting rigorous and modern knowledge that is still poorly developed in his country. Choosing Belgium represents an opportunity for her to evolve in a recognized academic environment, at the forefront of data innovations, while developing international expertise. This training will allow him to strengthen his technical and pedagogical skills, which are essential for training tomorrow's engineers and participating in the development of higher education in Africa. Through her EduData project, she is tackling a major challenge in the education system: early school leaving. It offers an intelligent platform capable of analyzing school data (grades, absences, progress) in order to identify at-risk students early and alert teachers to intervene in time. By combining data science and the field, its ambition is to significantly reduce school dropout and to introduce a culture of decision-making based on data in African education systems.
