In this article, I explain the list of documents to provide, with tips on how to properly prepare your file and avoid mistakes.
The list may vary slightly depending on your country, but in general, you will need to provide:
1. ID
Advice: Make sure that your passport is valid at least until the end of your planned stay in France.
2. Degrees and transcripts
Degrees obtained (baccalaureate, license, master depending on your level),

3. Curriculum Vitae (CV)

Recent bachelor's degree:
Certificate of preparation of the diploma (or provisional transcript) with the expected date of graduation and the main grades.
Current student:
Recent transcripts.
Professional:
Signed work certificates (position, dates, working time), contracts or recent pay slips.
Research/academic:
2 to 3 letters of recommendation from your supervisors.
